Cooldowns

• What is a Cooldown?
  • Cooldowns are a mechanic in the game to help pace the pulling of higher rarity songs. Higher rarity songs include lyrics and epics
  • Once a lyric or epic is pulled, you will not be able to pull another lyric or epic for 400 drops
• Miscellaneous Rules
  • Epics from Epic Hunts will bypass cooldowns, but will create a new cooldown of 400
  • Auctions and trades are irrelevant to cooldowns. They will not count towards creating or decreasing cooldowns

Drop Rates

• What are Drop Rates?

  • Drop rates are the likelihood or pulling a respective song from each method of obtaining songs
  • Drop rates also apply to likelihood of pulling a gem from map/trade/quest

• Miscellaneous Drop Rates Rules

  • Using coins to open a drop or open a quest artist will give 1.5x less chance to gain a special rarity
  • Drop rates are not affected by any other external factor - everyone uses same rates
  • Users can obtain higher rarities of songs they have a lower rarity of, for example, getting shiny after obtaining normal, getting epic after obtaining shiny
  • We are still looking into whether release edition loot boxes drops higher rarities

• Map drop composition refers to what users have on the map

• Miscellaneous Rules

  • Other drops can drop Country, Latin, Classical & Jazz, or Metal genres
  • If users select multiple genres to drop, they will be dropped at equal rates
    • ex. User selects Country and Metal, Country rate is 50% and Metal rate is 50%

What is Map Pool?

• Map Pool refers to the list of artists able to be pulled from the map by users
• Dependent on total discovered songs (can be found on top right of profile)
