Starting from v2.5, Soundmap will use its own ranking for map & quest! The internal ranking is based on # of users favoriting a particular artist. Each genre has its own ranking and both map and quest will use the new ranking. The ranking will be updated daily based on # of favorites.

Quest Numbered Epic Cutoff:

As a result, we are updating the quest cutoff to the following:

• Hiphop / Rock / Pop: Top 350
• K-Pop / Indie: Top 250
• R&B / Metal / Latin / Country / Electronic / Classical & Jazz: Top 150

If an artist is ranked above the threshold in their genre, you can only pull regular epics from their quests. If an artist is ranked below the threshold in their genre, you can pull numbered epics from their quests.

Map Epic Cutoff:

All epics pulled from map will now be within the following range and all will be numbered:

• Hiphop / Rock / Pop: Top 1500
• K-Pop / Indie: Top 1000
• R&B / Metal / Latin / Country / Electronic / Classical & Jazz: Top 500
