Our team is on a mission to completely change the landscape of assistive technologies for visual impairment. We are building the world's first AI copilot for the blind, and we need the best team to get there.
Autonomous vehicles are nearly there. Yet, no comparable device allows a pedestrian to walk down a sidewalk. That's why we've built biped.ai, the world’s first AI copilot for blind and visually impaired people. The device is worn as a harness, analyses the surroundings in real-time, and guides the user with sounds. We started this project in the summer of 2020, at a hackathon. Since then, we started building our dream team, talked to multiple end-users, tested the device with >200 beta-tester, and gained close to 10 key partners in Europe and in the US. As we are closing our seed round, we're expanding our team quickly.

Our offices are located in the North of Lausanne, in Croisette. Fully equipped, with monitors for everyone, and a 3D printer. Additionally, there is a nice kitchen, meeting rooms, and restaurants nearby.
At the heart of the canton of Vaud, the Biopole Campus offers a stunning view of the lake and one of the most vibrant MedTech and BioTech ecosystems in the world.
OK, we’re still a startup, we ordered a ping pong table. We also use it for meetings from time to time.
Our daily job happens mostly in the office. But we're testing our device as frequently as possible with end-users, and you'll get to contribute to these live tests.
For real. Start when you want, finish when you want. Everybody's different, and we definitely understand that.
All our positions are hybrid: on-site (Lausanne, Switzerland), and remote. Choose the balance that suits you best.
There's a kitchen in the office, and there are multiple lunch options nearby 🙂

We are going on company retreats twice a year for a few days (once in the mountains, once at the beach).
The metro stop "Croisette" will take you to Biopole directly, and is very well connected to the rest of Lausanne and to the lake.
